In most cases, yes. We remove the cold water tank in the loft and the hot water cylinder, fit a combi and connect it to the mains. We’ll check your water pressure and flow at the survey first, because a combi relies on them.
A combi works best with one main bathroom. If two showers often run at once, a system boiler with a cylinder is usually the better choice. We’ll look at how your household uses hot water before recommending anything.
Converting from a regular or system boiler to a combi usually takes two to three days, because of the extra pipework. A straight combi-for-combi swap is normally done in a day.
