Who we are
This website is run by AMW Heating Ltd (company number 13108296), registered office 68 Cavendish Road, Patchway, Bristol, BS34 5HJ. We are the data controller for the personal information you give us through this website. You can contact us about your data at info@amwheating.co.uk or on 0117 990 2735.
What we collect
When you use a form on this site (a callback request, contact form or boiler quote request) we collect the details you enter, which may include:
- your name, telephone number, email address and postcode;
- the service you need and any details you choose to give about your home, boiler or heating system;
- the page you sent the form from and, if you arrived from an advert or campaign link, the campaign tags in that link (such as UTM, Google or Facebook click identifiers).
We don’t ask for sensitive information, and we’d ask you not to include it in a form.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry, give you a quote and arrange a visit (our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract).
- To carry out the work you ask us to do, including gas safety records and boiler registrations (contract and legal obligation).
- To understand which pages and campaigns bring us enquiries, so we can improve the website (legitimate interests).
We don’t sell your information, and we won’t send you marketing unless you’ve asked us to.
Who we share it with
We only share your information where we need to, with:
- the companies that host this website and deliver our email;
- manufacturers and registration bodies where the law or a guarantee requires it (for example registering a new boiler with the manufacturer or notifying work through Gas Safe or OFTEC);
- our professional advisers, or where the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry, and records of work we carry out for as long as we need them for guarantees, safety records and our legal and accounting obligations.

Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or send it to another organisation. To make a request, email info@amwheating.co.uk. We’ll respond within one month.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
